Working as web and advert designer for the Darton Arrow, our community never fails to surprise me in just how much there is going on in our local area. This is consistently true at all times.
It doesn’t matter what your interests are, you can guarantee there will be something going on to interest you most, if not, every day of the week. With this in mind, it occurred to myself and my editor, Joanne Ruston, that it would be nice to have one place where people could visit online and find most local activities and events. Although we are still collating information, we are proud to announce the Darton Arrow Events Calendar. This can be accessed via any internet device (laptop, desktop, tablet or phone) and is live now on our website: http://dartonarrow.co.uk/events.html
There are three ways in which you can view the calendar; by week, month or agenda (list view). You can toggle between these views using the links in the top right of the page but we think the agenda/list view format is the easiest way to view the information and so this is the default view.
The calendar will focus on events within the arrow distribution area and you will be able to access the events by date. So, for instance, if you have a free day next week, you can click in the date in question and the events for that day will instantly appear. By clicking on any specific event, it opens up more details as in the image below:
If you have an event, run a class or offer activities and you are in the Darton Arrow area (see top of magazine for all included areas), we will be more than happy to include you on the calendar. Best of all, it is totally FREE!!! Simply contact Joanne on 07905 193 061. Alternatively you can email at firstname.lastname@example.org or use the contact form on the website.
